The site is run by Nazli Consulting, a UK-based company. We built this tool because tipping culture varies wildly around the world and we wanted to make it easy to get it right — wherever you are.

The calculator is completely free to use and always will be. We earn a small commission if you sign up to travel money services like Wise or Revolut through our links, and we display advertising through Google AdSense. Neither affects the independence of our tipping advice.
